About Oceans to Earth
Our Story
Rewind back to June 2018. As passionate environmentalists we (that’s Rosie and myself, Jake) were peering over the cliffs at Old Harry Rocks in Studland and noticed the small bay full of litter floating around on the swell. With no access on foot we wondered how it could be cleared. Moments later (and not without some element of fate) a family of kayakers appeared from around the headland. We put two-and-two together and bought some kayaks. The seed of an idea had taken root and GoPladdle was born.
We began cleaning various coves along the Jurassic Coast and Poole Harbour but quickly began to realise that beach cleaning alone was not going to be enough and we started to look into how they could solve these problems. With the amazing support of an incredible community and some forward thinking businesses, we now have an impressive project list, striving to put long term solutions in place.
But, of course, this wasn’t enough. As our passion grew ever stronger for the environment, we began working our way inland. Oceans aren’t the only planetary marvel in danger of collapse; our forests and wildlife are as equally vulnerable, and desperately need our help!
2020 was to mark the birth of Oceans To Earth.

A recent graduate in accounting and finance, Jevgenija is here to help Dave do his job properly (joking). She is passionate about keeping the forests and other animal habitats clean since she grew up around the nature.
